Douglas beat Southport 54-14 to secure at least a promotion play-off place in South Lancs/Cheshire Division One on Saturday.
Paceman Adam Boyd was the star of the show for Douglas with a four-try haul and there were also scores from Bryn Snellgrove, Guy Wood, Max Singer and Simon Hoddinott with Snellgrove converting seven of the eight tries.
The Manx side remain second in the standings after leaders Manchester recorded a bonus-point to stay six points clear of Douglas who have a game in hand.
