After the Port-e-Chee pitch was ruled unfit shortly before kick-off, Douglas and Blackburn upped sticks and headed for Ballafletcher for their game in North One West on Saturday.

The visitors took it in their stride, grabbing a 7-3 victory in what were tricky conditions.

A Cory Logan try converted by Leon Fairfield gave Blackburn a 7-0 half-time lead.

Douglas battled back after the break but could only add a Bryn Snellgrove penalty to their tally with the Blackburn pack winning the forward battle.
