Nigel Crellin and Chris Molyneux missed out on retaining the British Sidecar Trials Championship title for a second time by the narrowest of

margins on Sunday.

But ultimately they finished one mark down on the Bristol pair to be pipped at the post in what was a close contest.

Tuck and Sparkes completed the first lap of 18 sections for a score of 11 to Crellin and Molyneux’s 18; while both of the leading crews went round for seven on lap two.

Olly Lace and Ealish Baxter dropped tw0 halves of 40 to finish fifth.

Damian Owen and Gaz Temple had a disappointing day to after a hefty loss on lap one to finish seventh in the intermediate class. Luckily they had already secured the class title in a previous round.

Jack Corlett and Beth Thomas rode well together to win the clubman class on the day, with Jack’s father John Corlett and step brother Harry Gell dropped 20 for fourth in the same class.

Graham Thomas and Ben Crookall went round the 43 and 11th spot.
