The Sean Craig & Sons-sponsored Snaefell fell race takes place next Wednesday, July 26, starting and finishing at the Bungalow.

The 8km course is one of the most testing on the fell running calendar, including more than 550 metres of difficult ascent.

It is the penultimate round of the Callin/Wild Fell Running League. Start time will be 7pm, with registration from 6 o’clock.

As this is a short race the organisers can allow runners to compete without full safety gear if conditions allow. A decision will be made at registration but all runners are advised to turn up with the regular safety gear.

l The 2017 Microgaming Isle of Man Marathon and Half-Marathon are now a little over three weeks away on Sunday, August 13.
