The first of the summer series of Promenade Runs takes place this Saturday morning in Port Erin.

There will be the usual 2km and 5km events plus a 10km race if there are enough marshals.

It starts at Cafe Delicious (centre of the prom), and heads up the hill onto the Upper Promenade, along Bay View Road, left onto Ballafesson Road and right at the big roundabout back to Rushen School and back into Port Erin, finishing back on the prom.

Register online at manx timingsolutions.com (closes 8pm this evening, Thursday). More than 70 had entered by 3pm yesterday.

You can either collect numbers at Up & Running, Buck’s Road, Douglas on Thursday or Friday. Sign on at the event from 8.30 for a 10am start on Saturday.
