With only two or three fixtures left in the mixed leagues, tensions are growing higher for title contenders and teams in the relegation battle.

In the Premier League, Bacchas A will certainly and mathematically be able to call themselves champions if they record a victory over long-standing rivals Valkyrs A.

Expect a physical match in the 2.05pm pushback at Peel.

Bacchas sit on top, two points clear of second-placed Vikings, who face the Tromode side next week. The Whites also have a game in hand.

Ramsey face Harlequins, with the latter being desperate to save themselves from the danger zone. This could still be possible if Harlequins were to win both of their remaining games and Bacchas B lost all three of theirs.

Harlequins will have everything to play for in this game and therefore will prove a tough challenge for in-form Ramsey.

Vikings will go into the fixture with Bacchas B as favourites, but Bacchas B will be throwing all they’ve got into this game to avoid relegation, and are dangerous on the break.

In Division One, top-of-the-table Vikings B face a Valkyrs B side that gains strength week on week.

Vikings B will be looking to put some space between them selves and Castletown Celts in the table, but this game could go either way. Valkyrs B strikers have been on fire lately and will prove a tough challenge for the Blacks’ defence.

Second-placed Castletown Celts go head-to-head with Bacchas C, who held Celts to a 1-1 draw in the last encounter and will be expected to provide a similar challenge this time with the young team developing week on week.

Another relegation battle is on the cards with bottom of the table Castletown Cammags against Saracens Sabres. Any points gained by the southerners would be essential here, and they are not to be underestimated as they held their own Celts to a 0-0 draw at the start of the season.

In Division Two, Vikings host Valkyrs with the Blacks seeking to cement their title hopes. Valkyrs have been struggling of late but won’t be an easy side to overcome.

Ramsey Ravens, who are hot on the heels of Vikings in second place, will meet bottom of the table Valkyrs D.

Both teams will have everything to play for in this fixture, so a tough game is anticipated.

Another team facing demotion is Ramsey Rookies who are equal on points with Valkyrs D. They play Bacchas Colts who have recorded an impressive five wins out of seven this season so far.

Division Three leaders Saracens Colts have a week off. They currently sit one point ahead of Vikings Colts, who could go top if the Blacks win against third-placed Harlequins Colts.

Only two points separate the top three teams in this division, so the title could do down to the wire.

Elsewhere two mid-table teams, Harlequins B and Saracens Sharks will go head-to-head for bragging rights.

Finally, Castletown Southerners will be up against Bacchas D. Castletown are bottom of the table and currently have exactly the same points and goal difference as Saracens Sharks, so the Reds will be desperate to gain any points here.
