This evening’s TT qualifying session has been called off because of high winds and low mist on the Mountain.

The cancellation is the latest in a long line this week with only two qualifying sessions going ahead so far as the island continues to be dogged by poor weather.

This means Saturday will now be used for qualifying with the first races of this year’s festival hopefully on Sunday afternoon. However, the weather forecast remains mixed for both days meaning further alterations to the proposed schedule are likely.
