With the PwC Men’s Premier League and Division One hockey titles decided, attention turns to the other leagues’ respective championship contenders this weekend.

PwC Women’s Division One sees Saracens being the main pretenders to the crown. Should they beat Bacchas B and Vikings B lose to Harlequins B, then Saracens will win the title.

In reality though, it is possible that Bacchas B could spring a surprise and take both points on offer.

Vikings start as favourites against Harlequins but it is worth mentioning that Vikings have only won a game by two clear goals once this year and have not conceded more than two goals per game, therefore expect a really close contest in this one.

Castletown B go into this weekend knowing that a point would guarantee them the PwC Women’s Division Two crown and few are betting against them earning the point they need against Valkyrs C.

Saracens B take on Ramsey B with the former looking to stay as close as possible to Castletown to try and capitalise on any slip-ups.

PwC Men’s Division Two cannot be decided this weekend and, with Castletown B and Valkyrs C level on points separated only by goal difference, both will be looking for good wins this weekend.

Town take on Harlequins B while Valkyrs go up against Bacchas C - regardless of results, the title battle will go down to the final weekend.

Although PwC Men’s Division One has been decided, the battles continue in the hunt for second place.

Valkyrs B are aiming to become the first team to beat Saracens A this year while Harlequins take on the much-improved Bacchas B. Both teams will be hoping the other slips up and gives them a chance of taking the runner-up spot. The other game in Division One sees Ramsey B take on Vikings C.

The PwC Women’s Premier League cannot see a winner this Saturday, but it is probably one of the more interesting leagues as there are currently three teams that can win the title.

Bacchas A play Valkyrs A looking to climb up the table but they cannot win the league. The two favourites for the title are Valkyrs and Castletown, but with the sides facing each other on the final day, Vikings could potentially steal the title if they beat Castletown and Bacchas A manage to beat Valkyrs this weekend.

In PwC Men’s Premier League, champions Bacchas A take on Castletown A and Vikings A go up against their own second team. Both the southerners and Vikings B will be hoping they can keep the goal difference down in an immensely close relegation battle.

The other game sees Valkyrs A take on Ramsey A.
