Dean Anthony Whitehead, aged 35, of Heather Crescent, Pulrose, has been charged with being drunk and disorderly and assaulting a police officer.

He has pleaded guilty to the offences during a previous court appearance.

On Thursday, the case was due for mention only, with sentencing scheduled for today (January 3).

He was not required to attend court.

Bail continues.
