Tonight's Manannan sailing from Liverpool to Douglas has been cancelled because of the high winds.

The Steam Packet's fastcraft was due to sail from Liverpool at 6.15pm, with an expected arrival in the island's capital at 9.45pm.

The 8.15pm Ben-my-Chree sailing from Douglas to Heysham is expected to sail as planned, with an expected arrival in Heysham at 11.59pm.

The Ronaldsway Met Office says that a yellow weather warning is in force.

The warning expires today at 6pm.
